Perhaps not $300, but I just bought the exact same unit in perfect condition, with a battery, for $441.32!

James

No operating system? Is the Windows product key still stuck to the bottom of the unit?

What shape is the screen in? Any dead pixels?

Don't have it yet, but I'll be happy to answer all your questions when I do.

James

Yes, this is a good deal. Furthermore, it is coming from another Thinkpad enthusiast versus someone selling off refurbished, returned or overstock items. (not to imply that retrobox does)

How much does the X31 weigh? What kind of charge would one expect from a new 8 cell battery?

3.6lbs and 8 cell would last around ~5 hours i guess.

It's weird, I received your PM but could not respond.

Anyways, I will purchase your notebook. My email address is scotthur@gmail.com. I want to give you my cell number, so please send me a mail.

Meanwhile, I will try to send my contact information through PM. See you soon.

Scott.

Now this is what im looking for. I was talking about the x31 and was told about this site from another notebook site.

That is a really nice price. May have to wait a week before I can get it if its still here.
