I've been spending all my free time helping to take down a few ancient live oaks on my property that were struck by lightening a while back and had become a danger (and cleaning up afterward!), so I didn't respond quickly to my e-mails and I apologise for that. I'm still raking and hauling today but I did take some time to tweak my post to clarify it according to people's questions.

Thanks,
- Yak

I thought I had this thing sold a couple of times over the past few days but the "buyers" each assumed that when I accepted their initial offers that I would then allow them to keep continually keep changing them! Nope. I guess that's the bad thing about taking offers.

Thanks,
- Yak

This is an insanely good deal. If I didn't have an X22 that keeps breathing, I'd pick it up in a second. I can't believe it's still available.

3 year warranty, too!

This is a great price! Had I not bought an X40 from Yak just 4 months ago (a very smooth transaction, BTW), I would have bought this one without any hesitation! I agree it's incredible that it's still available!

Hi,
What is it exactly that you want to see in a picture? If I could even FIND the most minute defect there is no way any camera could represent it. It's like a new X40... with no box... it looks just like an X40... any X40... with a battery, a/c adapter and power cord. I don't mean to be rude with my comments here but I just can't figure a reason to take pictures unless one can tell me what exactly I am to focus on and why. Besides, my $50 Polaroid Digital Camera is no match for a stark black laptop!

- Yak

p.s. This laptop was NOT under one of the trees that fell in my yard last weekend!

If Yak says its mint, its mint. You can definately take his word on that. Just do a web search if you havent seen an X40 before.
