ALL SOLD: Hitachi 7k60 60GB 7200RPM - $85 shipped

All drives are OEM drives with no labels. They have been FULLY tested (see pic below) to have ZERO bad sectors and come with a 60-day warranty.
All drives were pulled from various models of IBM thinkpads and are between 10-14 months old. The IBM drive caddys are still attached to the bottom of the drives (protecting the PCB) and come free with the drives.
Hitachi Model 7k60 60GB - $85 shipped USPS Priority Mail
ALL SOLD
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How I test:
Drives are formatted and a surface scan run on each drive.
Any drives with ANY bad sectors are not sold.
Any drives making abnormal noises are not sold.

Just to satisfy my own morbid curiosity, why are the drives missing their labels?

LOL - because the guy I bought them from is an idiot.
He is under the (mistaken) impression that label=manufacturer warranty. What he doesn't understand is that all the HD manufacturers keep the OEM serial numbers seperate from the retail serial numbers. If you do a lookup on an OEM drive it will give you an error message and tell you to contact the manufacturer of your computer for warranty service on the drive (if it even finds the drive's serial number).
Hence, he removed them.

i don't want to rain on your parade but it clearly would state, if the label were present, the following:
"warranty void if any label/screw is removed or broken"
will you personally be warranting these HDD's..?

That is what is stated in the add. "
60-day warranty"
And just FYI, on ANY OEM drive, even if it has the label, once it is removed from the original computer it shipped in, there is NO WARRANTY (from the drive manufacturer). Zilch.

If you replace the HD inside a T41 which has a warranty till next year, will it void the manufacture's warranty?

No. The only thing that will not have a 1-year warranty is the new HD (my 60-day warranty would be the only one that applies).
Hard drives and memory are considered customer/user serviceable parts (LCDs, motherboards, etc. are not).
