I got one of those (I think it's very similar to the $11.99 one) from geeks.com and one of the LEDs blinked **constantly**. It was very distracting, so I sold it on Craigslist after using it for just several days. I would not mind paying an extra $5 to $10 to get a different one that doesn't blink.
