SOLD: T20 for PARTS OR REPAIR

I took this laptop as a trade for some parts, and just don't have time to fix it.

Details:
Laptop powers up to the boot screen and then gives an error:
0175: Bad CRC1, stop POST task.

I've done EXTENSIVE research on this and the problem stems from a corrupted BIOS EEPROM (which is soldered to the motherboard).

There are 2 solutions:
1) replace the motherboard (IBM's recommended solution)
2) reprogram the EEPROM (requires equipment I don't have)

Since a new board on eBay is about $40 shipped, that would be the solution I recommend.

Since I don't have time to do the repair, here is what the lucky buyer is getting:

T20 (2647-46U)
- 14.1" XGA LCD (EXCELLENT Condition - only one small keyboard rub on the screen, NICE and BRIGHT)
- 700MHz Pentium 3 Processor
- 12GB Hard Drive
- 128MB RAM
- KEYBOARD (LOOKS BRAND NEW, HONESTLY IN BETTER SHAPE THAN MY T42)
- Battery (charge capacity unknown)
- Windows 98 COA sticker
- NO AC ADAPTER

The case is in EXCELLENT condition for a laptop this old (small scuffs on the top LCD cover, none on the bottom and no broken parts).

What was the price that had been listed? I might be interested if the pending sale doesn't go through.
