Maybe your best bet if you want a 15" screen in the sub-$500 price range is to search eBay for an A22p or A21p.

If you prefer a 15" display, built in WiFi and decent performance, you're offering too little at $500 to $600 IMHO.
The only 15" display models I've got at the moment are my A30p and A31p both fully loaded with Bluetooth, WiFi, etc., etc. and either of which would fetch more than your offering price.
As AlphaKilo said, I would suggest a search of eBay/NE for an A22p with a 15" display. It won't be a Flexview, but it's a pretty good one and you should be able to find one in your price range or less.

I'm talking about 1024 resl. guys.
So no fancy screen, just a standard laptop.

Paying
any surcharge for an XGA 15" display model is foolish IMHO. At that resolution stick to the 14" display models and you'll get more bang for your buck.
That R50e that Brent has is a nice unit, although by the time you buy it, ship it to NE and pay the tax man you'll be
WAY over your budget.
I'm pretty sure the VAT will be around 22%.

I think I understand the reasoning here. My wife has relatively poor vision and the XGA resolution on a 15" panel is great for her. If you don't mind looking on ebay, I've seen quite a few machines go in the sub-$500 range with WiFi, 15" screen etc. They'd be A30 and A31, but if you are OK with the performance of those models, they'd meet your criteria. IMHO, an A30 with the 1.13 or 1.2 Tualatin CPU, and 512Mb or 1Gb of RAM is an excellent cheap laptop.
You can see in my sig how my wife's A30 is configured, and it's great for her.
