so this is what you've all been waiting for....at least according to the thread in the T4x forums.

I contacted a seller in China and had him ship me 20 of these. Depending on how these sells, I may order more, but who knows. I am keeping 2 of them, so I have 18 to sell. This thread is approved by Bill, as I will be sending him a small portion of each sale I make here.

Price is $22 each + $3 shipping (+1 for each additional one).

So if you want 1, it will be $22 + $3.50 = $25.50
and if you want 2, it will be $22 x 2 + $3.50 + 1 = $48.50

Items will all be shipped USPS First Class w/ Delivery Confirmation. I can ship out of the country, but shipping will be more, and I will not guarentee delivery and I am only responsible for the item until it reaches the post office. PM me if you are out of the country and want to know prices.

I can also ship USPS Priority for those who are interested and want it a day or two quicker for $5 shipping instead of $3.50 (+$1 each additional still applies)

Prices may seem high, but let me tell you, I am making almost nothing on these as shipping from China cost as much as the actual cases (I am impatient and went w/ the fast shipping).

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I can take paypal or money order. Paypal orders will be shipped out next day, whereas money order orders will be shipped out after I receive them.


EDIT2: for full disclosure, I have no way of knowing if these are authentic IBM produced....the guy says they are. Also, if you check

It is a perfect fit for my T60 however, and looks great

i'm sure it would fit, but it would not be that snug of a fit on the side, but since it has a loop, it would be tight on the front and back, just not on the sides.

Unfortunately I do not have a x series to take any pictures with.

Got one for me (for a different ThinkPad than the one in my sig).

Now if only someone would sell me one for the 15" size for the machine in my sig....

7 left, with 6 people who have said they wanted one but not sent paypal.

So if they all pay, I only have 1 left. For those who PMed me and got my paypal address, I will hold them until tomorrow around noonish, and if I have not received paypal in my account by then, they will be made available again.

So after I sell this last one, PM me if you are interested and if these people do not pay by tomorrow, I'll go down the list and start emailing/PMing people who were interested

for those who have ordered and paid, your orders went out an hr ago. You should be receiving an email from paypal with the USPS tracking # (unless you're from Canada).

If you ordered 2, your packages were mailed out USPS Priority, so you should have them in the next couple of days. My packaging I bought for the cases couldnt fit 2, so it ended up being the same price to use their packaging and mail priority instead of having to buy more

I talked to jaybert, and he is out of sleeves. So I picked it up, and was wondering if more people are still interested. Please let me know, so I can talk to Bill about maybe selling them here like jaybert did. Remember I'm from The Netherlands, so shipping will be 10 dollars to the states and less for europe.

I'm interested. Let me know if you have some available.

I am mailing the last one out in about an hr or two. If I had known they were going to sell out THIS quickly (well....I knew I could of sold more, but i wasnt sure the seller would not screw me over and not send anything, or the quality would be really poor).

Looks like Toine is going to try and bring some in, so you all can talk to him if anyone wants more.

Yes, but he's our EU representative and will cover EMEA. Shipping at ~$10 will be prohibitive to this side of the pond.

You should sell them here in NA.

I foresee sufficient demand that you could both have a market share.

I'm going to pass...for how much I made on each, its not really worth the time, especially if I'm going to have to keep stock for an extended period of time (It wasnt so bad this time..since I sold them in a day and was able to ship them in 2 or 3 trips). When the demand dies though, its really not worth it for me to head to the post office each time one sells since its kind of a hassle. I'm also finishing up school right now, so I'll be moving shortly and starting work @ IBM in September

But if anyone wants to take this task, PM me and I'll give u my contact who I bought these from.
