Hi! On european Ebay I'm selling a S30!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8811737870

It has mirage black LCD cover, wireless lan and a japanese keyboard!

The condition is excellent, all further features you find out at the auction!

I ship in whole EU (incl. UK) but not in US because of import taxes you don't want to pay! (and higher bank transfer and shipping costs too)

Greets!

What a nice machine. Is the CPU upgradeable on that? I have an extra 1.2Ghz PIII (came w/ my T23). Would that work?

Also why no shipping to the US? I can never find an S30 on e-bay.

hi! sorry, the cpu is not exchangeable because all low voltage and ultra low voltage cpu's are soldered on the mainboard.

shipping to US:

In principle I can ship to US but I fear that you have to pay import taxes for this item and I don't know how much (depend on the tax rate in US)

So if the tax rate in US is 20% and you bought the s30 for 600 Euro you have to pay 600 Euro + shipping + 20% of ALL (item + shipping) and I'm sure that nobody in US want to pay that.
So in fact of that I wrote that I'm not shipping in US.

But if you want it, please bid! But shipping and money transfer costs are also higher than in EU.

Thanks!

There's no "duty" in the US on used computers purchased from the EU.

Nor any other federal import taxes.

Hi, thanks for your answers! As I wrote above, I can ship to US but I cannot guarantee for further costs.

In Austria I also had not to pay any "duty" but normal taxes!
We have 20% taxes of all normal goods (TV, computer ect) and when I'm importing something from outer EU I also had to pay this 20%, it doesnt matter if the item is new, or used ect.

So I cannot guarantee for additional fees when shipping to US.

Shipping to US would cost 24 Euro for the cheapest insured method.

Bank transfer fees I don't know, maybe 8-10 Euro?

I don't know what paypal would charge, but my bank said it would only be a couple of bucks.

However I chasing down a rumor of an S30 out near where I live. If I can buy it, that would be much preferred. Good luck with your auction though, it is a really nice machine. I am sure whoever the lucky bidder is will have a very nice time with that machine.
