hello,

i used linux on my T30 for a long time. now i need to re-install windows xp but did not get recovery cds whith my thinkpad.

is it possible to download iso images or order it from ibm? (german version would be great.)

I'm moving this to the Marketplace, so that hopefully someone might be able to provide you with copies of their disks.

Actually, I have the IBM Recovery CD-ROM for the 600 (IBM P/N 10L9521) that I can send you a copy of. I haven't even opened it yet.

Note: I haven't tested it yet to make sure that you don't need to enter a CD-Key, as I am not sure if the older systems require it. I think that I had one sometime back that asked for it, and I haven't used one since.

I tried doing an ISO of the T23 disks, and couldn't find a way to get them hosted.

If you want to wait for me to get my copies, I'd be glad to send you a set.
