Like new pulled from a new X32 six-monhs-ago, used in an ancient PowerBook that gave up the ghost four-months-ago. This drive has at most 10 hours of use on it, and is nice and quiet.

$40 shipped in lower 48.

Hi,

Assuming this one has 8MB buffer, would you be able to let it go for $35?

Thanks.

It has an 8MB buffer, but I think $40 shipped is already a very low price.

$40 for a 40GB 5400rpm drive is an excellent price. I am already crying because I wasn't "allowed" (per wife) to take you up on the super deal that you just had on the 80GB.

$1 per GB including shipping for a new drive is about as good as it gets these days.

Nice offer to forum members.
