I have a spare X31 systemboard with 1.6Ghz CPU. Also includes the security/firewire board. I purchased as a replacement, but wound up not needing it. Will guarantee against DOA. Asking $210 (NOW REDUCED to $175) shipped in continental USA. Sorry I only ship to the continental USA. Paypal or money-order for payment. Thanks.

Does this systemboard you have for sale also fit in an X30?
X31 has P-M CPU and built-in wifi, so that would be a big advantage...

Yes, I believe the X30 and X31 motherboards can be swapped. However, I have never done this.

They can't!

the USB port on the X31 is on the left side (on the X30, it's on the right), and the exhaust vent is larger on the right, due to the moving of the USB port.

Too bad. Guess I will have to stick with a non-Centrino X-series Thinkpad in that case...
