*** SOLD ***

Excellent condition IBM ThinkPad A30 - PIII-M 1.13GHz

This A30 was my work issued laptop four years ago. I also had a desktop at work and used the A30 very little. Only at work or home, never on travel - which I rarely did. It was purchased for me and I have been the only owner since it was new. When I switched employers I was able to purchase the unit. It has served at home as either a music server or guest machine. This machine still feels fast even with Windows XP, it has the Pentium III-M processor. No problems ever, warranty has expired.

The laptop is in excellent condition with minimal keyboard wear. It was initially a model with internal wireless connectivity, but I swapped the LCD (including antennas) with my A31 that did not have wireless connectivity. The bezel on the unit is from the A30, as the pictures show, it looks perfect. All plastics are excellent. The A31 screen is obviously newer and is very bright with no scratches or imperfections at all. I also removed the combo 802.11b / modem mini pci adapter and installed a CDC modem. Memory has been doubled to 256MB. A NetGear MA401 802.11b pc card adapter is included. IBM AC adapter is included.

The battery has less than 100 cycles on it and lasts approx. two hours, depending upon what you are doing. It is still in the green (best) zone.

I would like $300 including shipping. Willing to ship outside the U.S., if all shipping costs are covered.

(eBay feedback is 100% with 170+ rating)

The model is 2652-4CU, current spec.'s are as follows;
PIII-M 1.13GHz (512KB)
256MB RAM
30.0GB HD
15.0 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD
8x-2.3x DVD
Modem (CDC)
Ethernet (CDC)
TV out
Li-Ion battery
Win98 COA
NetGear MA401 802.11b wireless pc card adapter
IBM AC adapter

Buy it Steve, you know you want it.

The A30 and A31 make magnificent desktop replacements. I'd grab it myself if I didn't have one sitting here unused.

James

I do!

See, Steve, our job is to tempt and pervert you when it comes to Thinkpads; getting you in trouble with your wife is just a bonus. :D

Sure Steve, we're empty nesters now so there's plenty of room, or you can stay on the boat.

I'll send the boy for you in the PC-12.

Regards,

James
