New user who needs some crucial items for my t30. I need a mini pci wireless card, but it needs to be wireless G and plug and play would be great or at least some knowledge and really good instructions on how to do the hack.
Also, I need a battery for my T30, and can you tell me which utility to use to find all the info on the battery in there right now. I cant find that information myself, and yes I have tried.
Thanks for all your help and patience with my ignorance in Ibm laptop knowledge. God Bless You

if you open up the battery maximizer program, and follow the instructions and check to show the icon on the taskbar.
then left click and go to battery specs/details at the bottom of the list. on one of the tabs, it will tell you the battery health, max voltage, current voltage, and how many cycles is has been charged.
just a note- you can edit your post so you dont have to keep replying to your own thread.

I just installed an Atheros SuperG card in my wife's A30. It was a little bit of work since it's not one of the IBM blessed cards, but it works great. Now with both our machines running SuperG cards, the throughput is very fast.

It cost all of $18 on ebay after shipping! The down side is that you have to run the 1802 error patch and the new Access Connections v.4x won't let it connect. I just use v. 3.71 and everything works like a charm. Oh yeah, if you aren't dead set on having G, I now have an Actiontec (IBM Blessed) B card that you can have cheap.
