I'm a proud owner of Thinkpad G41, but I need to buy a new..

... I need to buy a new Thinkpad. My requirements are: more hours on the battery (the G41 last only 1hour), not that heavy – but with 15” screen, reliable as this G41, more brighter screen – to be readable in daylight outside the house, no dead pixels. The G41 I have now has 0 dead pixels.

The only Thinkpads I can see MAYBE filling your needs would be a 15" T or R series with Flexview screens (and they would be SXGA+ or UXGA, 200-nits brightness). The problem is what you mean by "readable". These Thinkpads are somewhat useable outdoors, but none I've seen would be of a nature that I would care to use them outdoors in sunlight much of the time. Maybe others can add their opinions on this. I have an R50p that might fit your needs (see sig), but I fear you may be expecting more brightness than any 15" Thinkpad screen can deliver.

I have a 15" Flexview T43 available. Used but in the box and perfect.
