[SOLD] IBM T43p

#1 Post by draxyu » Sat Jul 01, 2006 1:34 am

Model: 2668G3U
PM770 2.13G
1G DDR2 533(1 slot)
60G 7K100 hdd
SXGA+ 1400*1050
DVDCDRW
Bluetooth
128M ATI FIREGL V3200
9-CELL Battery
Three year IBM warranty until 2009!

I bought two T43p for me and my girlfriend. But she prefers more portable one, like X60. So I have to give this up. It's BRAND NEW but open box since I had to check everything is ok.

The price is $1400.
I think the price is unbeaten and in this price range, T60 can not win this T43p.
I am in Los Angeles. Cash or paypal(I would set up a private auction for you.)

Pictures are on required.

Any references for you as a seller ? You're new here in the forums, so some previous credentials will not hurt ..
Was the machine registered with IBM/Lenovo ? Was it powered or it is still sealed ? (just open box)

Alex
14.1" T43 2668-6ZU machine.
ATI x300, 1GB RAM, 40 GB HDD, all the connectivity (except of Bluetooth), DVD/CD-WR Combo...
Still excited about this great machine...

You can see my email address is .edu. So I am still a student not a seller.
I just found this site from my friend. :) Nice website anyway.
Not registered yet.
It is just open box but not powered. I just checked the contents.
Are these all answering your questions? ^_^

Perhaps I let me be misunderstood.
You're selling so you're seller in this case. Selling in public something that worth more then few dollars does require something that would tell the people you're trustworthy person to deal with, especially given you're new to this particular community and selling ad is your first message here. These credentials may be a successful Ebay trading feedback history, heatware and/or something like that.
Hope you got the point...

As they say "nothing personal, only business" :-)

HEHE

If I post the price for $1600, and there will be no doubt reply.

Welcome friends in LA come and have a look at my laptop.

It's worthy every dollar you spend. No kidding. :)

Well, perhaps you have never dealt online yet, (at least your response doesn't show any experience or understanding of online sale common practice), your response doesn't help either to earn a trust among fellow community member. I can not see any reason for a sarcasm in what you've been suggested in this thread as about showing your credentials.
Don't get what did you try to say by 1600$.
Surely, if you allow a local buyer to come to check the item and then to decide - this is something that may appeal (or may not based on your responses in this thread), though you surely understood you're severely limiting your potential selling chances by limiting to a local sale.
You may be first time dealing online, which is understandable, but then you would at least listen to Bill advising to show up the purchasing reciept, machine serial number, this is certainly better then nothing and people would get a feeling about your deal.

I indeed was considering your machine (albeit my wallet isn't looking inviting after the purchase of my current Thinkpad) and agree that the price has something to offer for such high-specified brand new model, but now your responses will unlikely to help to makethe decision... Sorry.

Yes. As you said, it's my first time dealing online in such forum or community. I was suggested to come here by some of my friends who is also an IBM fan.
So, if there is something I said unappropriate or rude, I will apologize. :)It's not my original will.

The S/N is L3WRXLF
The model is 2668G3U

The information can give me some credit, huh?
I don't have the receipt since I bought this from some reseller who did not give me anything.

I am also welcome friends from other places and I am willing to provide any pictures you want to earn trust from you guys.

Thank you for your advice.

No problem; just to be sure that everything is conducted with trust on both sides of the seller and the potential buyer(s)/buyer(s). :)
