I am looking for an IBM Thinkpad T41 with SXGA or UXGA and renewable 3 year warranty from IBM. Other features I would like to add to it are 1gb of ram, 80gb hard drive, DVD Burner.
I would prefer non-shared video, but this is not essential. Main thing is T41 w/SXGA and renewable warranty
Looking to buy immediately.

If this is a WTB it is going to be moved to the Marketplace and it shouldn't be in the T4X Series Forum.

What makes you say this?
The 15" UXGA display has been available on Thinkpads since the A30p model and there are many T40 and T41 models with one.

James

The T40 and T41 have a max 14" LCD so no UXGA.

You're right Teresa (and RS_003) I had completely forgotten that the 15" display wasn't offered until the T42p.
Senior moment!

Why not a nice R50p? See the link in my SIG below. Almost exactly like a T42p (see pdf in my post) but for a lot less. Same 15" UXGA screen and FireGL Graphics setup. Same 60GB 7200rpm drive. Same IBM a/b/g wireless. It has Bluetooth too. About the only difference between mine and the top-of-the-line T42p is the case. It has a far better DVD-Burner than ANY T42p (the older slim DVD-Burners leave much to be desired), but I'll go one step further and trade you the IBM burner in it now for a new NEC dual-layer model instead (if you install it yourself). The warranty is good until January 2007 but you could likely upgrade it. I can add an extra 512MB of RAM for like $35 more, and with that you now have a better laptop that you are asking for... and for far less than a 15" T42p for sure! Send me an e-mail if interested.
