I'm also assuming that for that $280, you get an iSkin case and AV cables. I am open to offers, but thanks for the threadcrap anyway.

You didn't think my post was showing that your offer was a competitive one?

it doesn't appear that he had any malicious intent, he was just stating the obvious. if you don't think the lack of interest is a hint, i don't know what else would have tipped you off that the price was high.

I took it to mean that it could be bought cheaper elsewhere which to me is a threadcrap. If that was not the intent, then I apologize to bibendum for assuming the worst.
Now if my asking price is too high, then that would be where the interested party would PM me w/ an offer, hence the Or Best Offer (OBO) listed after the price. As w/ all things, the price is not set in stone.
Thanks...

Market will correct the price automatically.
Plus, to my knowledge, I have never seen a sale from this forum that the price is higher or near the normal market price.
Furthermore, most people that visit this forum are pretty knowledgable.
Even furthermore, I saw and see that this forum is a very polite forum. Members treat each other pretty well.

Back that down a notch, now and henceforth; I see no problem with Bibendum bringing up a valid competing offer. Furthermore, the post that I just quoted, by you, is more "threadcrap" than Bibendum's post; I also recommend thinking before you post, especially in the Marketplace forum. Remember that the thread is open to all users here and they can post their comments/questions to it. Part of it is dealing with said comments and questions in a polite and prompt manner. If you are incapable of doing so, please either don't post "threadcrap" yourself or entertain offers via PM or other private channels only.

It's been settled, no need for mod intervention. Thanks for the heads up regardless.

That remains to be seen and nothing has determined right now as to whether or not it has been settled. That is just a warning to not do it again (once is enough for such warnings); I made the decision to intervene and decided there was reason to and, apparently, still is.

Thank you for your warning, it will not go unheeded.
On the advice of forum members, I have decided to drop the price to $255 shipped. Again, feel free to make reasonable offers.
Thanks

You can put it on eBay. eBay has .20 insertion sale now. You may have a better chance selling your iPod.

definitely try on ebay, there are folks like me out there who get antsy at the last second of an auction and go past their "MAX BID" Either way good luck and I hope you get what you want out of it!
