WTB: 760 battery and Video Dongle...

#1 Post by AlphaKilo470 » Wed Jul 19, 2006 6:24 pm

I'm looking for a video dongle and LiIon battery for my ThinkPad 765D and would rather check here before buying off eBay. If anyone has either of these parts and are willing to part with them, please let me know, thanks.

Heh, thanks.

I don't really need the video dongle, per say, it'd just be nice to have on the road so I could bring my Dreamcast or Playstation with me and use the 765 as a monitor for it since it has video input (my favorite feature on the 760CD/ED/XD/765D).

I'm also thinking about pulling this post back after the battery you sent me with this laptop decided to take a charge all of a sudden. I'll just have to see how long it will hold that charge.

did you do anything to stimulate the ol' "dead" battery? i was discouraged by the 0% on the screen so i didnt even bother. but either way that ought to sweeten the deal.

dreamcast? i havent heard that word in a while!

Ususally, with these batteries, they take a few seconds for the computer to recognize them right if they haven't been charged in a a while.

Yeah, I got a Dreamcast from a friend and it is the coolest system I've ever owned. The control layout is similar to xBox and just like xBox the Dreamcast runs Windows CE. The Dreamcast, with the right games, is really a great system and definitley one of Sega's best offerings. It's really too big a shame they didn't make it big in the marketplace. I also have a Sega CD system in my TV cabinet along with and in my closet is a boxed NES w/ Mario Bros/Duckhunt cartridge, controllers and gun, SNES, Famicom, Playstation and a Sega Master System.
