This was my first thinkie winkie, about two yrs ago I sold it to a co-worker who used it a lot and now has sold it to another co-worker and this lunkhead guru installed 3.1 on it and can't do anything with it. So i'm trying to get it back to at least 95 or 98.

If you can just get a plain jane copy of Windows 98 (SE preferably) the only extra thing you'll have to install is the configuration utility which is still on Lenovo's support site. Great thing about this computer is that it uses almost no proprietary devices or chipsets (unlike it's high end sibling the 760/765) so installing Windows is pretty painless.

The el problemo is that they don't have a 98 disc or a 95 disc.
