I will be traveling extensively to Sinagpore, Vietnam, Sydney, and India in the coming months and I am looking for the best value airplane adapter for my T60. I would like to ask the forum members for any suggestions based on their experience.
Thanks

Right now whatever IBM/Levono offer is probably the only realistic choice in term of a traditional low voltage auto/air style adapter. The T60 line uses a different power supply (which produces a different DC voltage) from the previous "T" model generations, and as far as I can tell there is not yet much in the way of aftermarket auto/air supplies that will work with a T60.
The other alternative is to look at an DC/AC inverter that will work off the aircraft Empower DC socket and produce an AC mains output that you can use your normal T60 power pack with. I use a TeleAdapt/APC "inflight" inverter which delivers 90W of AC power in package of modest size and weight.
You do need to check with the airlines you will be flying with, as the rules on what they will allow you to use on board in terms of connecting to the aircarft power system vary somewhat from airline to airline. I do know that QANTAS and British Airways are OK with the TeleAdapt "Inflight" unit.
Cheers,
Bill
