When I bought my X41 I wanted a second hard drive to play with Linux and a few other projects without tampering with my standard load of Windows XP and all of my business-critical documents. This was essential as my MacBook has been away at Apple for way too long (3 weeks today) and as a result the X41 has functioned as my ONLY computer.

Well, my experiments are done and I've concluded that Linux and Vista Beta 2 are not yet ready for primary OS duty on what has become my primary computer. SOOOOOO, I am selling this like-new Hitachi Travelstar 1.8" drive and an X41 caddy, but no plastic front piece (I need that). This drive will also work in an X41 tablet or an X40, though I'm not sure if the caddy is the same or not.

The drive has perhaps 30 hours on it at most, is nice and quiet and works like a champ. It retails for about $100, I think I paid $108 though you can find them as low as $90 on eBay.

I'm selling for $65 shipped in the US WITH THE CADDY. International shipping extra, PayPal preferred.

May as well buy this too since I'm buying the sleeve! Save you a 2nd trip to the post office. I thought Brent had great prices on his that I missed out on last month (due to MY stupidity  ), but this is fantastic. Thanks counsellor!
