WTB: X20-24 - ***Purchased X22, All-Done***

My maximum budget is $400, though I'd prefer to stay lower. It is to be my 11-year-old's first "School" computer, and so I'm wanting it to be simple and look nice. No beat-up project machines, but processor speed and hard drive size are unimportant.

I strongly prefer an X22 or later on account of the higher RAM ceiling and internal wireless, but will consider an exceptionally clean X20 or X21 if the price is right.

Should have an X2 ultrabase and Max RAM, though I'll buy a lower spec unit at a lower price.

Let me know what you have...

Andrew

I have an X22 with no LCD assembly. Works well. No internal wifi. I doubt it's what you had in mind though, good luck.

I can have an X24 coming soon, no internal wifi, or HD, but 1.13ghz and 256mb ram, ~$300.

Its for an 11-year-old, I want a laptop that looks near new that I can just give her as a gift. I don't mind installing a larger HD or a memory module, but I'm not looking for a weekend project.
