LTB: T4X series laptop
Im looking to buy a T4X series laptop, preferably a t43, but reply back to this specs on what you got and what you want for it. Im kind of slow with pms because that means i got to sign in and everything so post replies on here if you can and I will pm you if I see something I like. Thanks in advance and God Bless You!
p.s. man this forum rocks! There aren't many forums out there with helpful people on it and trustworthy people on it. Im a lil sketchy about going to ebay for something of this worth.

You can bet that you will get a pretty high quality new Thinkpad from Bruce.
Also, you might want to check this one out; http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=28757
$900 for a T42p with a UXGA *and* a 7200RPM OTB? That is pretty good if you can stretch it.

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

thanks Chris I can count on you to look out for me. I appreciate that. Yea I saw that the other day and he lowered his price. Thats an excellent price I agree. I really need to sell my T30 as well so if you see or hear someone looking for one holler at me. Im going to post my T30 for sale on here and see what happens. I really want to sell it but dont want to get lowballed. I like my chances on here better though cuz everytime ive sold on ebay I have got ripped off just about. I sold SFT Shocker paintball gun on there for my starting bid of 900 when that gun should of sold for 1100 easy!!!!! I hate losing money. Oh yea another question. Will my ultrabay dvd burner work in a t4x series? Oh yea and is the faster ram on a t43 worth the extra money or will I notice that much of a difference between that and a t42???

If you are interested, I'm getting some T40s, T41s, and T42s ready to sell - either on eBay, here, or CraigsList. They will range between $550 and $900 depending on the model and CPU speed. I am going to put at least 1G RAM, a 7200rpm HD, DVD/CDRW in each. They are all SXGA (1400x1050). Some have warranty. I also plan on loading the IBM preload with the latest updates (MS and IBM), some of the good free software around, and a year's subscription to ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite. You can PM if you are interested on specific specs.
Unfortunately, I don't need a T30 and don't plan on dealing with them since they have USB 1.1.
If you want to check out my eBay 'reputation' go to ID wwjd77x7. Recently, I've mostly been a buyer but have had a few sales in the past.
I'm also new to this forum but sure agree with you about this being one of the best forums - good, helpful people here. I've already solved several problems just by browsing.

PS: Though my location says Beijing, I am in the US for awhile - then return.
