FS: T20 with great screen [SOLD!]

Up for sale is a T20 (2647-41U) with the following specs:

700MHz Pentium III
256MB RAM
14.1" XGA display in excellent condition
DVD-ROM drive
6GB hard drive
IBM battery that lasts for about 2 hours
AC adapter

There's no Windows COA sticker, though I have installed my institution's copy of Windows XP Pro for testing purpose. You will need to replace it with your own OS.

This model only has modem for internet access, and the ethernet port is fake. There are minor scratches here and there, the hard drive is kind of noisy (though no functional problems have been encountered), the alphabet keys are worn out though still legible, and the covers for the RAM and miniPCI have all black paint removed (i.e. they're shiny silver). Otherwise the unit is in fairly good condition, and again the screen is excellent.

I am asking for $140 shipped, or $130 if you need only 128MB of RAM (I will remove one stick). I accept bank-funded PayPal. Both my eBay and Heatware feedbacks are under "pianowizard" and are 100% positive. Please PM me if you are interested!

When I typed the original ad, the laptop wasn't with me and so I had forgotten that most of the alphabet keys are quite worn out. I now have modified the cosmetic condition from "very good" to "fairly good", lowered the price for the unit with 256MB RAM to $140 shipped, or $130 shipped if you need only 128MB of RAM.

Awesome deal - $140 for a T20. Thank whomever the purchaser is for finally grabbing this one. You saved me from having another fine guest machine.

Had I not recently snagged an A20m on eBay, this would have been long gone.

A 700MHz T20 with 256MB is quite snappy for browsing, Quicken, light word processing, etc. Pop in a 5400rpm drive and a wifi adapter and take off. Life is good.

I agree! I just picked a R51, so anyone looking for a great condition 600x?

Shockingly, this terrific deal is still available! Quite a few people have expressed interest but no one has been able to pay. Whoever pays first (by bank-funded PayPal) will get the laptop! The price has not changed: $140 shipped if you want 256MB RAM, $130 shipped if you want 128MB. Please either PM me or email me at Piano_Wizard at yahoo dot com .

The laptop is taking up too much space on my desk and I want to get rid of it ASAP! That means as soon as you have made the payment, I will ship it within one business day! I will ship by USPS Priority Mail.

Hell, I'll buy it and I don't even want it. I can make payment instantly. What's with people saying they'll buy and never do? Reminds me of eBay.

Thanks Tony. Now let's pray that it will arrive intact. If it's damaged somehow, it's not the end of the world because I bought insurance for it.
