FS: Thinkpad T60 2623-D6U **Sold**

#1 Post by AssPenny » Mon Sep 25, 2006 11:06 am

My beloved T60 needs to find a new home. I love it, but it is just collecting dust. I use my work issued lappy more often.

Its in perfect shape of course and has upgrades. No scratches or even shine on the keys.

2623-D6U
T60
CoreDuo T2400 1.83ghz
1.5gb Ram @ 667mhz - upgrade
DVD burner Multidrive
80gb Drive
ATI x1300
SXGA+ 14.1"
Intel ABG Centrino
Bluetooth
Fingerprint reader
9cell battery - upgrade
AC Adapter
Remainder of 3 year warranty (i think i got it in May).

Im asking $1300obo. Sorry, no shipping out of the US. I still have all the original boxes and it will come shipped as it was shipped to me from Lenovo.

Keep offers as PM but feel free to ask any questions here.

Thanks!!

Wow, only $1.3K for that?

It seems to me that that is a very good deal, a very tempting deal at the very least. :)

Yeah, I am under the pressure from Mrs Asspenny to get rid of some of my Laptops and Shuttle systems.

These price new for about 1550 base and then there is 200 in upgrades, so that is my 1300 pricing logic. Some can save 400-500 bucks (no tax either) getting a mint one a few months old.

BTW: Im running Vista RC1 on it and it is just fine.

DANG! I'd like to buy it but I'm pretty sure Mrs Carbon would have the same attitude as Mrs Asspenny.
Somebody hurry up and buy this before I do something my wife will regret.

I am looking at AssPenny's signature, and can understand why Mrs. AssPenny is upset LOL! $1.3K sounds like a great bargain. If I hadn't just bought a T43 and a T23 (arriving this Friday) and if I didn't still have two laptops to sell, I would go for it!

I'd be all over this like white on rice if not for 2 things:

1) the wife (recurring "problem" in this forum it seems)
2) no BIOS for Merom support.

If 2 ever gets fixed, I'll gladly incur the wrath of 1. :D

@Christopher,

Get that thinkpad since you are in the US and you have got no wife to stop you from buying it. :D

T60 is quality product and among all laptops that i owned, i loved my T60 the most.
