FS: 3COM 802.11B XJACK PC CARD SOLD..

I have a new 802.11b xjack 3com pc card for sale. The software cd is included. Works fine. Since this is an older xjack card, it doesn't seem to turn on or off when you extend the antenna(it's always on). I've read this is normal for this card. You have to turn on or off through the software. Newer models turned on amd off through the antenna when pushed in or out.
The model number is 3CRSHPW196.
Lowered price to $18.

Actually the high-end cards have the switch, the budget (Office Connect) cards don't.

As Andrew stated, that's the
Office Connect card which doesn't have the internal switch on the antenna.
Other than that they're a very reliable 11b card.

Actually anything 3Com is about the best available from a reliability standpoint. I have the a/b/g X-jack card in my X22 and it is the next best thing to internal wireless, better actually than some internal cards I've used.

If it wasn't the Office Connect version I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I love those cards, but I want the on/off switch.
