This is really good price. How come you got the drive so cheap? Forum members, grab it before it is gone.

Just curious. Does it come with caddy and HD cover? I know it is highly unlikely but Just want to make sure. If it does, I might consider buying an extra to play with Linux.

It comes with the caddy, but not the black plastic faceplate.

Thanks. I will pass then. It is really hard to find the hard drive cover. I know.

Good luck, they never come with the drive, only from a broken X4

the HDD door is NOT hard to come by it is only very costly for what you get..
you really don't NEED the HDD door when you have the caddy..
and you don't REALLY need the caddy either..
i have used naked drives with onlt a bit of good masking tape so as to allow me to pull it out of the X41 tablet..

all that said, i too have a spare 60gig thinkpad option 1.8 inch HDD..

Yes, I know it does not really need a door. It just looks ugly. 8)

The door you have just pops off with no screws. Thats why I never bothered to buy a second one, because it only takes a few seconds to move the one I have between caddies.

Wow, great price. Wish I found this forum before I bought from Newegg.

Any chance you would sell just the caddy and screws?

Sorry, the drive is worth a lot less without them.

Bump

Come on folks, $100 is VERY cheap for one of these, they get at least $120 on eBay and that doesn't include shipping, the caddy, or the peace of mind from buying from me instead of some scammer.
