I'm really very sorry - I've obviously missed something, but what on earth are you talking about?

Ian,

 I think it's pretty obvious. Have you drunk too much French wine again?

Yes, I probably have - but I still can't seem to get my head round this post - is he buying or selling?

Well I'm glad that's finally sorted out - I can now get back to some serious drinking...

Already in this early morning? I haven't even had breakfast yet. It's really getting off topic, but have you tried our Hungarian Tokaji wine?

G-Man

No I haven't tried Tokaji although the name rings a distant bell...any good?

Well, my favorite one is "Szamorodni", but it might be too sweet for regular wine drinkers. www.tokaji.hu

Hey G! What are you doing over there with the EU crowd???

You in Buda or Pest?

I have been known to break my non-imbibing rule when offered a nice Tokai, hint, hint!

James

the answer is OBVIOUS..

AND, ya know, with all this talk about vin ordinaire or extra-ordinaire, my redhead, (she's BACK and in an industrial strength brace) might take an interest in this forum.. :D

Well, I'm back for a few years... or for good. Don't know yet. And I live on the Buda hillside. BTW I used to live in Pest, but it's too flat... and the smog etc. Bill, I would be happy to see Caroline here. Probably she is pretty bored, can't move too much, so give her a TP and a username, so we can entertain her.

So if I do convince the boss to head over this fall for a bit of vacation and I were to phone you from the middle of the Chain Bridge, we could get the Cook's Tour?

I would be more than happy. We can do a tour at IBM Hungary, and visit some nearby wine cellars (and of course don't forget the girls... thank God my gf doesn't read this forum). Just drop me an email before that so I can beg my boss for a few days off.

G-Man
