These items have SOLD.

I have two Tecra 9000 laptops in pretty nice condition, aside from the fact that they won't boot up. These are complete units less the HDD, both have nice screens, without defects.

(1) 1.2ghz PIII / 512RAM / CDRW-DVD / WiFi / Win2k COA / Port Replicator / AC adapter

(2) 1.2ghz PIII / 768RAM / DVD-ROM / WiFi / Win98 COA / Port Replicator / AC adapter

I'm asking $85 each + shipping but I'll entertain any reasonable offer. PM for pictures.

I have a 3rd 9000 that's not in such great condition, heavily used but was still functional until it stopped powering up. Mouse buttons are very worn but still worked, minor cracks in the case, screen was bright but has scuffing/stains across the upper central portion of the screen.
(3) 1ghz PIII / 512RAM / DVD-ROM / WiFi / W2K & XPpro dual COA

Make me an offer.

Now if these were just a bit older, Alpha would be all over them. :)

Yeah, they're too young...

Actually, the reason I'm not inquiring is because I'm still sorta tightly strung on the cashflow at the moment. Maybe if they are still up for grabs in a week I'll buy. I'm somewhat confident that might happen given that the other people here I know would be interested are married and have wives.

When plugged in the indicator lights show that the battery is charging and when turned on, power and hdd lights blink similiarly to normal but it never makes it through the startup process, stopping at varying points. HDD was not the problem. I haven't had them checked out but did discuss the issue with a Toshiba technician. He figured it was probably one of the two main boards on the fritz.

I don't know anything more than that.

The third one doesn't respond to any power, AC or battery, so it may be a power supply problem with that one??? I really don't know.
