I have been waffling back and forth between whether I prefer the 14" vs 15" T42p. The 15" 1200x1600 UXGA Flexview is great but I think I prefer the 14" footprint. Anyway thought would see if any interest in this. Continental USA buyers only please!

I bought my 2379EZU T42p barebones from IBM. So came WITHOUT ram, hdd, dvd/cdrw drive, modem/bluetooth, clearplates, mini-pci wifi, battery and without os as well. This is a T42p 2379EZU model. The 3-year IBM warranty is good until 6-30-2007. There is a single dead sub-pixel (one tiny dark spot on a green or white screen). Case has some small scratches/scuffs from everyday useage. Likewise keyboard shows a little of the usual usage wear (most used keys a little shinier than others). But looks mostly new. Looking for $1750 plus $50 shipping completely bare (original box, AC-adapter included).

Or can add any of the following installed and ready to go... prices for accessories are only good with the computer.

60GB 7200 RPM $145 (3-year Hitachi warranty will end roughly same time as Thinkpad)
2 x 512MB PC2700 Transcend sodimms $75 each for total 1GB ram for $150.
Bluetooth/modem and clearplates for T42p $65
IBM ABG mini-pci $55
DVD-CDRW drive $95
6-cell battery (still green status but has lost maybe 20% charge) $45.
Windows XP COA and IBM recovery CDs for T42p $75.

Or all the above for discounted $2300 + $50 shipping.

All the accessories come with DOA replacement warranty (you can check the machine out for a week or so). I can replace any components you have trouble with under warranty with one of my other Thinkpad T4x machines. But all components have been working without problems so I don't expect any difficulties.

Not in a rush to sell so not interested in low offers. Sorry I only ship to addresses in the continental 48 USA states.

Payment via cashiers check, postal money-orders or Paypal (credit cards are ok). I only ship to Paypal confirmed shipping address when payment is made via Paypal. Shipping will be insured FedEx 2-day with signature required for flat $50.
