Here's the configuration--I'm asking $1250 shipped to the continental US via insured UPS.

The system comes with a 14.1-inch LCD; 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo T2400 processor and an 80 GB hard drive along with Windows XP Professional Edition.

I have upgraded the memory to 1.5 GB of ram from the standard 512 MB.

It comes with a multi-format DVD burner, Three USB 2.0, one PCMCIA, VGA out
Tri-mode 802.11a/b/g wi-fi, Bluetooth connectivity, 10/100 Ethernet

Ii purchased the system in May, 2006 to use in my business, but as my nickname suggests I'm a Macintosh fanatic (and have been for over 15 years) and my new MacBook Pro runs the PC software I need as well as I need it to with Parallels.

nice thinkpad, but what is the remaining warranty, LCD resolution and HDD speed..?

I bought it in May, so only six months is gone from the warranty.

What James is trolling for is 6 months used out of the 3 years.

Some of the Thunkpad are only coming with 1 year.
