For Sale: IBM ThinkPad T23, Model 2647-2TU, with 1GHz Pentium III-m CPU, 256MB RAM (2 x 128MB sticks), 30GB hard drive

From IBM's website:
Product: ThinkPad T23 2647-2TU

Original description:
PIII-M 1.0GHz (512KB) [BONUS: PIII-M 1.13GHz CPU also included]
128MB RAM ==> upgraded to 256mB (2 x 128MB)
20.0GB HDD ==> upgraded to 30GB Fujitsu
14.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD
8x-3.3x DVD-ROM
Modem(MPCI)
Ethernet
TV out
Li-Ion battery ==> still in excellent condition;
Win2000 COA
AC Adapter ==> I believe it's an older model, but works fine

The machine is in very good condition. The keyboard has some worn lettering and little shine. The plastics look great with one exception noted below. The battery is in great shape, still in green zone showing 40 cycles and 32.54Wh of 38.88Wh. The LCD is bright and the lighting is even, no white/hot spots. Maybe one bad pixel at very bottom of the LCD plus one issue discussed below.

There are two small issues with this T23, 1) approx. 1/2" black line on lower right of screen that looks like a hair - see pictures below, 2) small crack in LCD cover on one corner - see pictures below.

Other than that, everything works as it should and the machine is surprisingly fast.

I am being very detailed so there won't be any surprises. The machine is fine for everyday use.

$225 including shipping in the U.S. & extra 1.13GHz CPU

No takers yet?!

I reduced the price and added a bonus CPU. A Pentium III-m 1.13GHz unit for your upgrade and tweaking pleasure. What's more fun than tearing apart a new toy?

This is a nice unit.

That should be a real taker. I sold a lesser spec 800mhz T21 with XGA screen back in September for US$200. However, if I remember right, the ad sat on this forum for a good one or two weeks before I had a taker.

I'd buy it if it were SXGA+, but I can't do XGA on a 14", sorry.

I'm interested, but I am waiting to see if I win an auction on a local X30. If I don't win, I will definitely consider this machine as a backup for my T42

Very tempting to atleast make an offer....but I haven't had much luck in the local resellers market lately.
