I recently bought an R30 with a wiped/replaced HD and no recovery disks. It has the XP Home sticker on the bottom, but I need a compatible install disk.

Home? Wow, i havent seen a home license on the thinkpad before.

Anywho, it should be the same as a T30 (a T40 restore works fine too)

Thanks for the suggestion, but looking at the tawbook.pdf it does not appear that any T30 (or T40)s came with XP Home installed. However, I did see some for R31s...

Oh well, looks like this will be an uphill battle...
