Considering selling a 600E

I'm planning to get a tablet sometime within the next year. In the meantime I have a 600E, PII 366MHz job with 64Mb RAM, 13.3" TFT, Windows 98. It works fine, except the speakers which are dead due to a broken connection on the main board.
Both batteries are dead (main and CMOS), and I plan to replace the CMOS battery before I sell it. My question is, will it be worth my money to buy a new main battery to sell it? How much can I expect to get for it with/without a new main battery? The batteries I have seen for it run around $120 US -- just seems a bit steep considering I'm not planning to keep it.
