need t30 ribbon

hello

i have searched all over for a lcd ribbon cable for new sxga panel i have the xga one but the fru no for the cable i need is 27lo707 the panel is type with 200 brightness instead of 150 also have a 2.2gig p4 to fit, happy to pay any fair costs and shipping etc

is it possible to use xga cable but getting a reduced resolution ( just a stupid thought)..

I believe that the FRU for the T30 SXGA+ cable is 27L0707 (zeros, not the letter "O"). A couple of them are currently being offered on eBay.

The first one says for international bidder to contact him before bidding. The second one does not appear to have any statement that they won't ship overseas, so you could probably ask.

i have asked the first one trouble is i got a sxga panel for the t30 i am building up but getting the inverter and ribbon have been hard ( won inverter) i have noticed on ebay when my friend was looking to get a honda blackbird although we are local to each other we returned different search results for same search request.

i have searched in vain if any others appear i would be pleased.

i am hoping the t30 will be a good jump up from the t23 although the general perf of t23 is very good the gpu is a little weak for my needs , i have maxed it out ,so try a t30 although rebuilds seem an expensive route you dont junk much stuff the t30 had cracked screen no hdd no cpu no ram so great i get a 2.2g cpu £22 ram 1gig £80 and 100g 7200 for £90 plus the sxga £120 inc shipping they claim its new? also the t30 cost about £50 (total £360 ish)
that problem with t20 t22 i reckon its power reg i bet they did a production run of them say 20,000 i bet there all the same batch
