Sorry I don't have time to do my research on this... but will this drive fit into the Ultrabay in an X4 Dock?

Yes, these drives that work with the T4x should work well with the X4 ultrabase for X40/X41. Same with the T60 drives for the X6 ultrabase.

Do these have side rails attached already? Or a just bare drives....

T4x series don't require side rails. The casing for the laptop has a slieve-like housing and these fit perfectly into them.
