Case is in good condition, minus one small chip in the LCD bezel near the proprietary input up top (didn't notice until I actually stared at it), and a minute crack in the bezel on the bottom left (also not very noticeable- visible in picture 465). If these two things bother you, a simple swap of the LCD bezel will fix it.

I don't see any dead pixels at all. There are a number of faint white spots, but they haven't stopped me from using it, and I'm very picky when it comes to them. The screen has a nice shine to it when off, and doesn't have any scratches. In the pictures, the screen appears dark up in the corners- it's not like that, just a result of the picture taking angle.

The paint is half worn off of the memory cover, as it wouldn't peel off any further (Won't bother you unless you use your ThinkPad upside down).

I did just remember that there is no ethernet card installed...I took it out when I first got it, and have used a pcmcia wireless card since.

Hinges are good.

Keyboard is good with no shine except for a dab on the spacebar.

The keyboard bezel/palm rest are very clean with no wear.

I know this is an easy $200 on eBay, but I haven't the patience lately...

Machine will be cleaned up before selling.

PayPal only, non-CC.

This does seem to be a good buy. Pics (even one available) would help in making up our minds.

Good luck with this,
Ron

Hey Ron,

I'll get to the pictures, as well as the full model number, but I was just trying to get some opinions. If I said $250 I know that'd be well out of bounds, but I get the feeling $200 is reasonable.

Also, this price would include priority shipping. It does not have a COA on the bottom, so I can't sell with W2K on it (Copies of W2K recovery CD's can be included, assuming T23 discs work on this...I also might have T20 W2K discs, I'll have to check).

edit: Changed subject to reflect change from inquiring to selling.
edit2: Updated pricing with and w/o HD.

Dan, is a good seller, and he doesn't even panic when the postal service takes longer than normal to deliver stuff :help: .

Thanks Mike. While I would say you held the utmost level of patience, I never gave up on the USPS!

Good to see you sold it. With prices dropping so fast, we'll have to pay people to take away our machines :?
