Hello all, I am in the market for an older but working IBM laptop to use for general web surfing and Email..it does not need to be blazing fast or pretty....just something for everyday use from work.
And oh yeah....CHEAP!!!!

Hey Tony, did you say in another thread that you are selling your fanTAStic T20? Why would you rather replace it with an older Thinkpad, what's going on?

Its just that I dont use it that much and right now I could use the extra cash with the holidays coming up...I have it up for sale on craigslist and will see what I can get for it...I have no intention of giving it away.

I hear you. I too have some computers that don't get used much and think it's better to sell them than letting them collect dust. By advertising on Craigslist, I have found potential buyers for my Toshiba Portege R100 and my X40. To replace them, I bought a near-mint X22 for $169 shipped.

I have an A20m in very good condition with very good spec's, since I just put in a new IBM high capacity battery, I would need $250 to part with it. (I supposed if you want it with a weak - 30 min. - battery, it'd only be $200.)

750MHz PIII
384MB RAM
30GB HD
14" XGA LCD
Built-in 1.44 FD
CD-ROM in Ultrabay
Ethernet
Modem
NEW IBM high capacity battery
AC Adapter
New Netgear B/G wifi adapter

Keyboard is in very good condition, only a little shine on few keys.
