I bought it for use in my T43, the hard drive has the latest bios on it (per that service bulletin/program test on lenovo's website), but my thinkpad still gives that start up error. There doesnt seem to be a fix for it on my computer and i dont want to hack / mess with it (I'm using this laptop for "mission critical" purposes)

I got an RMA to send it back to the distributor, but I wanted to see if anyone wants to buy it, its a week and half old hard 7200 2.5" hitachi hardrive P/N 0A25015, its been opened, tested, and has my ibm image on it (which wil be deleted).

Anyone interested? $124.73 + shipping etc

Please excuse me but maybe the price needs to be adjusted, it is cheaper on newegg

Please excuse me when I looked last week to buy frok newegg they no longer had that specific model of harddrive that was said not to error on bootup on the t43. Maybe that's change and they have it again?
