The screen is the positive part, but i think 900 is even pushing it. Beyond the screen, the specs are pretty standard.

I'd take a shot in the dark and say 700-750.

Any warranty left? Each year of warranty adds $80 - $100 to the value of a Thinkpad.

Okay, then $750 sounds about right.

I think $750 is a touch on the high side. Kind of tough when Lenovo outlet has a T43 (2686M5U) with 1 year warranty, DVD multiburner, 60GB HD, SXGA+ going for $899.

I personally think $650-675 is more like it.
x31 (2672-BBU)
x60s (1704-4DU)
T43 (2668-NU3)

Wow, it's shocking how fast these relatively recent Thinkpad models are depreciating. It's the best time to buy laptops, but the worst time to sell them! Thanks goodness I am not trying to sell anything at this point. jamse, if you get a $700 offer for your T43, you should take it.

yea i hate Lenovo so so so so so much, they lower the price way too much. seriously affect the resell value. right now i am selling my 1 year old t43p for 60%off the orignal price and still no ones interested about it.

Yes, Lenovo did drop the prices pretty fast, but laptops in general have dropped so much this last year, nothing holds its value anymore.

When you can buy a cheapy dell for 400 bucks brand new, that tanks the prices of the 2000+ buck laptops too.
