I have a mint Sony U71p that I would like to trade for another laptop/toy. These were only sold in Japan and are hot commodities here in the US, so please no junk offerings.

Here is a review of the unit i have, and mine comes complete with an extra expanded battery and leather case.

If it had a built-in keyboard like this one, then I would be interested.

It has a built in virtual keyboard, like a palm pilot has. Hit the key and it pops up on screen and is touch sensitive. What you type goes into the selected field.

Just wondering, what are these things worth? Looks like a lot of fun.

pianowizard- the one you linked kind of looks like a T-Mobile Sidekick. :P

They are kind of like the S thinkpads, collectors items since they were not in the US. They run for about 1000 in used condition, higher if they are in good shape with all the accessories.

The new version of this is the UX280. It goes for about 2000 without any of the accessories.

Mine does have the docking station, keyboard, stylus, etc....

A T42p, T43p, T60, X41 tablet would all be interesting to me.

perhaps lenovo might make a similar size thinkpad..
in stead of calling an X60, they might call it a half X60, thus: "> 60".. :)

they both sure look neat..

It is a fun little device. I like to take it in the car with me on vacations. Sweet to hook up to hot spots, run Nav through, etc...
