I've decided to sell my 2672-2BU X31 SN 99TARKT. I have too many laptops, including another X31. I know, some would say you can never have too many Thinkpads around the house, but my wife does not agree. This machine is in great shape, and has been upgraded to the following specs, along with all of the usual X31 hardware/software.

1.4GHz Pentium M, Intel Centrino
Restored to original (WINXP), then upgraded to Win XP SP2 with all latest MS and TP updates
Upgraded 256Mb to 512Mb RAM
Upgraded 20 Gb to 40 Gb hard drive
Intel PRO/Wireless Network Connection 802.11b
10/100 Ethernet LOM
Modem
IBM Embedded Security Subsystem
EZServ Warranty through Jan 9, 2007
Battery is poor (I get about 45 minutes)
A few scratches and rub marks on the outer case
Keyboard is slightly shiny and on the "N" key, a corner of the "N" is worn

I will include a copy of the set of original restore disks for this machine, if you like.

I have reduced the price and will include an X3 ultrabase or port replicator.

OK folks, I assume no one has offered to buy my X31 because I am selling it with a 1.4Mhz processor (see posting subject line). Well I have upgraded the processor to 1.4Ghz!

In addition, I have scheduled this item to sell on Ebay starting 6pm PST on Sunday so if you have an interest, please let me know before then. I am limiting the Ebay auction to USA only, but on this board, I am willing to work out shipping to other countries. In January, I will be in Shanghai, Tokyo, Zurich and Paris, could "hand carry" the X31 if you are located in one of these cities.
