OK I have had this T23 in my possesion for year now and pretty much never used it. It is in excellent physical condition, I dont think this machine has had much use in its lifetime. The keyboard looks like new and the Battery shows 16 cycles, and the screen is clear with no white spots.
Model 2647-4MU
1.13GHz CPU
256MB Ram
10GB HDD
DVD
$235 shipped

Questions:
Does it include XP?
The battery only has 16 cycles, but what's the run-time? I've had batteries with only 20 cycles that lasted 15 minutes.
Oh, and how about some bigger pictures? Tiny pictures make me question things...
RUSH- The 4MU is XGA...I just sold mine last week!

Easy thing is to check tawbook:
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pcinstitu ... awbook.pdf
-- and it will tell you that 2647-4MU has an XGA display.

pianowizard- I know it has the 2000 COA, as I owned the same model. However, I was taking note of the XP sticker on the KB bezel. On an unrelated note, my signature is about to look exactly like yours (I swear I didn't know!)...Different T43 model, but identical X22.
FWIW, I sold my 4MU with a 20GB 4200RPM, 256MB RAM, and $10 PCMCIA WiFi card for $275 to a local buyer. Your price works out fine compared to my experience, at least if the buyer has no resale plans.
Out of my two T23's:
The first had XP sticker on KB bezel, with W2K COA, but XP installed.
The second had W2K sticker on KB bezel, W2K COA, but XP installed.
If only the tawbook could spy on each system and update on an individual basis!
At any rate, the T23 is a great system, especially the 4MU.

My guess is the XP sticker on the keyboard bezel didn't come with the laptop, but was instead purchased seperately to replace the original Win2K sticker. The COA determines which version is legal.
The first T23 that I owned was a
2647-8MU, with WinXP COA. It was in
mint condition and had PIII-M 1.13GHz (512KB), 256MB RAM, 30.0GB HDD, 14.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD, 8X-3.3X DVD-ROM, Modem(MPCI), Ethernet(CDC), TV out, Li-Ion battery, WinXP Pro. I sold it for $260 in Aug 2006, including the WinXP recovery discs.

2000 COA as already posted.
XGA as already posted.
Run time is easily over 1hr, I would guess closer to 2hrs. If anyone want me to run it down and get the real numer I can, but would rather not.
$235 shipped is firm for the forum here. You will NOT be dissapointed in the condition of this machine, and I think that is fair. I will fleabay it next week if no takers.
I will post larger pics tonight, I was in a hurry and thumbnailed them accidentally.

Price is fair, someone will pick it up - sometimes it takes a short while. If I wasn't 3-4 TP's over the limit now, I'd grab it.
