Parting out my LOADED T42

Hey Gents,
As some of you know, I have recently purchased a T60. To pay for this new gem I am going to need to part ways with my beloved (and PIMPED out) T42.

There is no warranty left on the system, as it was cobbled together from spare parts.

Here are the specs, and EVERYTHING is FS:
T42
- 2.1GHz Pentium M 765 (FASTEST 400FSB chip ever made and this one is CHERRY picked - is stable at full load at 1.148V, a FULL 0.2V below specs)
- 14.1" SXGA+ LCD (from a T43 actually - brighter than most T42 screens)
- Motherboard (onboard ATI 9600 64MB)
- 2 x 1GB Micron PC2700 DDR laptop memory
- UJ-822B 2.4X DVD-RW
- BDMC 2 Bluetooth / 56k Modem Module
- Intel ABG IBM Branded Wireless Card
- 9 Cell battery (about 8mo old, great condition and gets 4h+ runtime)
- AC Adapter
- 60GB 7K100 Hitachi 7200RPM HD (this was a retail drive purchased about 1 year ago, so there are still 2 years of manufacturer warranty left).

I know this is a nice laptop, but the parts are worth far more than what anyone is going to offer me for the system itself. So she is being parted out and not sold as a whole.

Prices are as follows:

Pentium 765 (2.1GHz) - $280 shipped
SXGA+ LCD - SOLD (PERFECT condition - no scratches or marks AT ALL, does not include LCD cover, which is in Grade B condition w/ scuffs only, no cracks)
1GB PC2700 Memory - SOLD
Intel 2915 ABG Card - SOLD
Motherboard + Base plastics + LONG FAN (necessary with faster video systems in the T4x series - board is in Grade A condition, Plastics are B-) - SOLD
60GB 7200RPM Hard Drive - SOLD

PHOTOS of the system will be added when I can get home and snap some pics.

More prices for the components will be added when I can research their current going rate.

Just gotta pay for the T60p, and the parts are worth more than the whole.

Those are LONG gone. Sold them the instant the upgrades were done.

JHEM has dibs on that at the moment as it is part of the base. If he doesn't want it, then I will remove the BT unit and sell it with or without the antenna (which is integrated into the LCD cover and would cost extra).

Can't quote a price right now b/c I haven't had a chance to lookup the value.

Alright, did a little research (anything to keep from writing my thesis

).

If JHEM does not want the BT module, I will sell the following as a BUNDLE only:

BDMC200 BT modem/56k combo card
BT antenna and cable (you will have to take your LCD apart to install this)
BT clearplates (both the exterior and interior)

$60 shipped for all the above.

Dibs released, you appear to be on your way to kitting it out for far more than I'm able to reasonably offer.

At this rate you should net WAY more than selling the complete unit.

I'm looking to put it in a T40 with the factory's 14" XGA LCD; that should fit fine, right?

Yes, that should be fine. You will need the LCD cable, as they are different (motherboard connectors are the same), but I will include that.

I don't know about the X31, but the BT card WILL work with the T40.

Plastics, batteries, DVD-RW, and AC Adapter left.

I'm going to take the batteries in to work to get cycles, etc. from another laptop. The 6-cell is BRAND NEW w/ only a few cycles at most b/c it was a replacement sent from Lenovo for a recall battery.

Oh, and I do have another Intel ABG wireless card lying around like the one out of this T42, in case anyone wants that. $30 shipped.
