I am looking for a product recovery cd number 2 for t43, t43p

I am only looking for the 2nd CD because IBM sent me a faulty cd. I have reordered and I dont want to wait another 10 days! :roll:

If anybody can help and make me a copy of this 2nd CD and send it to me then I will pay for postage and cd cost. I am in the UK...

I'm trying to rebuild a T43 but don't have the recovery disk (I also don't have the recovery partition on the hard disc anymore).

Does anyone have an ISO copy of the 39K9211 (T43) recovery CDs available for me to download?

It's quite easy to install an OEM XP on your T43 (using the COA on the bottom), and then install the drivers etc. from the IBM/Lenovo website. Then burn an image onto a CD.

COA = Certificate of Authenticity

It is the sticker that should be on the bottom of your Thinkpad. It should indicate which version of Windows your system came with.

As for using the COA on an OEM Disk....I am pretty sure that you can't just use ANY OEM disk...only a Recovery Disk provided my IBM/Lenovo, or a Rescue and Recovery disk made by another Thinkpad owner.
