I would image that this TP hobby would ensure another crosses by workbench, however, when it appears is anyone's guess.
If you need one now, don't wait for me.

it seems its hard for me to buy parts for my coming thinkpad, i was looking to upgrade the wifi card and the thread starter looks to have sold all abg cards..could anyone confirm if this
http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=790924 product would be compatible with our thinkpad, the TP's a t40p for reference, and this looks really cheap for local prices..
please advise..
thanks..

If you have anything left that would work in a X31 (2672-j7U) please let me know. I can pay by PayPal or whatever you choose as a method.
Thanks a million.

Either the Cisco B or Intel B cards will work. The Broadcom G may very well work, too, but you might want to ask around first to see if it does (the X forum is a good place to start). It works in X20, X21, X22, X23, X24, R30, R31, T2x, A3x, models, at least.

I wanted to say that I ordered one of the Broadcom Cards and it came very quickly, in great condition (looks new to me), and appears to work great. I haven't connected yet due to other reasons, but the computer sees it and t appears to be working. Just assume that if I don't post further that it was flawless.
Thanks Underclocker!
Edit
I was able to turn on WZC and it works fine. I'm, looking for a conection utility so I can use it with my windows 2000 boot drive.
I found a connection utility. It's kind of messed up. Once you install it you have to locate the unzipped folder and find a particular file and start that. If you want it to start when you boot, then you have to stick it in the startup folder.

Any idea if one of the broadcoms will work in a t40?
If so, I'll take one.

I have not tried the Broadcom in a T40 and I have not heard back from anyone that tried either.

What about that broadcom in a R32?

R32's have severe restrictions in BIOS. Even the no-1802 hack doesn't work on R32's.

My TP T30 2366-JBU is currently in a coma and I can't wake it (yet) but I was having connection problems with the OEM Intel Model M3AWEB56GA refusing to "connect" prior to removal and re-seating which ultimately seems to have caused the coma.
Anyway... it was suggested that I talk to you about a replacement and if you have a card that would give me B/G that would be great... assuming its a pure retrofit and doesn't need hacking. If I can't wake up the TP how do I hack anything? OY!

T30 is probably the only ThinkPad model that I've never owned. You may have to check the T-series board to see if the Broadcom adapter will work or not.
Good luck resuscitating your T30.
If you would like one, please PM me.

Card from Underclocker came in today. Anyone have a lead on a good place to get the BCM94306MP drivers for XP? The ones I've googled don't work. Thanks!

Man, as soon as I went back to my PC to update my post I see your answer. I was able to get it running using the Dell TrueMobile 1300 drivers. Card works perfectly, thank you very much.

Hey buddy. Just curious how to turn this off for Airline travel.
I didn't originally have WIFI in the A31 so there's no switch.
