Sold: Excel. Cond. X22, 800MHz, 80GB, 256MB, A/B/G XJack
Excellent condition X22 for sale - with upgrades.
I've had this machine since new, not one problem ever. I didn't use it heavily, but did use it around the house and for personal travel.
The exact X22 model is 2662-97U, spec.'s are here;
PIII-m 800MHz (512KB)
256MB RAM (upgraded from 128MB)
80.0GB 4200RPM 8MB Cache HDD (upgraded from 20GB)
12.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD
Modem
Ethernet
Li-Ion battery
Win2000 COA
3Com 802.11 a/b/g XJack PC Card adapter (Model 3CRPAG175)
AC Adapter
External slimline USB Teac 10X CD-ROM drive w/cable (Model CD-210PU)
This model did not have internal wireless, but I currently have a top of the line 3Com A/B/G XJack adapter installed. I upgraded the 20GB drive to 80GB Travelstar (4200 rpm, but much faster due to larger cache 8MB vs. 2MB), I also added another 128MB of RAM, so it has 256MB total. An external slimline USB Teac slimline CD drive with cable is included. This drive is identical to a previous IBM branded offering. It works fine for booting the X22 from a system CD, like an XP O.S. installation CD.
The overall condition is excellent, normal wear from light use and travel, but absolutely no cracks or significant scratches at all. Not one dead pixel on the LCD and very bright. The battery is still in the green zone and lasts about 1.5 - 2 hours, with less than 200 total cycles. Perfect operating condition and the machine is surprisingly fast with XP.
Here are the pictures -> http://www.nikkoaudio.com/pix/X22/
External CD drive specs -> http://www.teac.co.jp/dspd/product/opti ... 210pu.html
Note that the XJack wifi card retracts flush with the side of the computer, the picture of the bottom shows the antenna retracted.
I would like $300 (plus $15 for insured U.S. shipping) as configured.
