I have a beautiful T40 with the dreaded loose GPU problem. The machine boots fine and runs very fast unless you move it, then it freezes. Pressure on the GPU fixes the freezing probelm, but I'd rather sell it than keep it. All parts are available and listed below with prices.

The overall condition of the machine is very good. The plastics are near excellent and the keyboard shows slight signs of wear. The LCD has a slight mark on it that does not affect the way it looks while in use - it can be seen in the linked photo below when the display is off. The LCD is a high resolution SXGA+ unit and is very bright.

Does the PCMCIA slot hinge/lid/cover fit in a T30?
I'd be interested in that (lid + spring) if it fits.

Not sure, but it is not included. It's on a friends T40 now.
