Want to buy a t42p at least 128mb graphic card, 256 would be
If ytou are referring to upgrading the graphics in the laptop itself, it cannot be done. The graphics chip is soldered onto the motherboard. However if you have the dock, you can add a PCI graphics card to. Any card should work, but I do believe it has to be low profile for it to fit.

T42P / 2378 EZU available
I have a "like-new" T42P / 2378EZU available. It has 15" UXGA, 128MB ATI FireGL, 1.8GHz Pentium-M, Windows XP Pro, 9 cell battery, 60GB / 7200 rpm Hitachi HD drive, 1 GB Ram, CD / DVD RW combo drive and all original packaging and accessories. The original 1 year waranty expired but I added additional 2 year coverage.
This unit has been sitting on my desk since new. Never traveled. New Keyboard.
If you're interested let me know. $1,000 firm.

That is a sweet deal for T42p. I have seen them going for $1200 plus.
RE: Graphics card in the Dock. I think any el cheapo ATI Radeon 9200 or better and Nvidia GeForce 5200 or better should fit fine in the dock. Fry's usually has them for less than $50 so it's not that bad of a deal. Keep in mind that neither the Radeon 9250 or Geforce 5200 series are top of the line. They are simply secondary cards. Not really bottom feeders, but nor 3D powerhouses as well. Either one of them has more than enough muscle to handle 3D on a secondary display though.
