SOLD: ThinkPad X20 and X2 Ultrabase

#1 Post by faberryman » Fri Jan 05, 2007 12:51 pm

SOLD:

I am moving to an X41T or X60 and need to sell my X20. The Model No. is 2660-34U.

600MHz PIII
320MB RAM (64MB+256MB)
3COM XJack 801.11b Wireless Card
10GB Travelstar HDD
COA for Windows 98 (currently running Windows 2000 SP4 and MS Office 2000)
Ultrabase X2 with FDD and DVD-ROM
Battery and AC Adapter

The laptop works perfectly. The LCD has no bad pixels. The battery holds a charge for approximately 90 minutes. Overall it is in very good shape cosmetically. There are two small marks on the palm rest next to the IBM logo. It is missing the Ultraport cover and the hinged Ultrabase cover.

For software, I will include Windows 2000 CD and Product ID number in case you need to reinstall. In addition, I will include Office 2000 CD and Product ID. The IBM utility software is installed and up-to-date. Windows 2000 and Office 2000 are up to date as are all drivers.

Looking for $175 plus shipping. Although it works perfectly, it may be worth more parted out and I am willing to consider that. Let me know what you need.

Cheers.

Very fair price. It shouldn't last long.

Good luck.

pics?

I'm debating between getting a cheap third system for linux or selling off my E1705 and using my T43 for linux...this would suit my needs for the cheap route.

Any issues with the Linux install on it? Sleep, Hibernate work okay? Wireless fine?

Thanks!

Please note that I have replaced Kubuntu 6.10 with Windows 2000 SP4 with IE6 and all critical updates. Perhaps this will make the laptop more attractive to potential purchasers.

I finally broke down and ordered a digital camera. I'll be able to send photos to all that have requested them in a few days.

Like all X-series ThinkPads, the X20 has a 12.1" screen.

I revised the description to reflect that I will include both Windows 2000 and Office 2000 along with CDs and Product ID numbers in case you need to reinstall.

Please send me a PM if you would like photos.
